YouTuber who bought a $777K Lamborghini Revuelto for $298K is currently stuck with a ‘useless’ car

This YouTuber has invested so much money and time into rebuilding a crash-damaged $777K Lamborghini Revuelto he bought for $298K and – after everything – it can only be described as ‘useless’.

We’ve been following this particular YouTuber’s project journey with rebuilding a this Lamborghini Revuelto that looks extremely sorry for itself following being completely destroyed in a crash.

During this part of the renovation, the content creator realized that the car was actually the wrong color, so he changed it halfway through and attempted to reset the car’s electronics.

The long story of the Lambo has ended somewhat disappointingly with it being declared ‘useless’ and a ‘£425,000 ornament’.

$298K seemed like such a bargain at the time…

This British YouTuber has been slowly rebuilding a crash-damaged $777K Lamborghini Revuelto that he managed to get his hands on for just $298K.

In the last installment in his YouTube series on this project, he realized that he may never be able to get it back to its prime driving form.

It seemed as though the Lamborghini Revuelto was suffering from a safety shutdown triggered by a high-voltage fuse issue caused by the damage from the crash.

Despite this, Mat Armstrong decided to press on with rebuilding the Lamborghini Revuelto when he came across an issue with weirdly, the supercar’s color.

This expensive Lamborghini Revuelto is ‘useless’

During the rebuild, Mat discovered that the supercar that he originally thought was black was actually wrapped.

He discovered that the Lamborghini Revuelto was white under the wrap, so he decided that half way through the project he would repaint the whole supercar white.

The replacement and rebuild costs were stacking up, so Mat started using custom parts and workaround fixes to fix the rear suspension and hybrid cooling systems.

Mat decided to risk the supercar’s warranty on a flame-spitting Valvetronic exhaust system to help boost performance and sound.

He refitted the airbag and the crash sensor system, but hit a big problem – he couldn’t reset the crash fault because he required access to Lamborghini’s rare coding software.

Turns out even Lamborghini haven’t made software to clear the crash data on the car, so Mat is stuck with a car that is fundamentally declared ‘useless’ for now.

The British YouTuber was disappointed after working out the total cost of repairs, saying: “Effectively, I’ve now got a £425,000 ornament,

“This might be one of the only cars we take a huge loss on.”

A disappointing and underwhelming ending to an exciting saga.
