BMW is considered a luxury brand, but we bet you have never seen one in this condition before.
In New York, after the state battled with icy weather, there was one usual sight that captured the attention of locals.
We’re talking about an abandoned BMW being covered in ice, thanks to water from Lake Erie encasing both the shell and interior.
Now, after going viral, people have been flocking to see the sight in person and have been surprised by just how frozen it really was.

This abandoned BMW had seen better days
The State of New York is used to harsh winter weather, and after snow and ice took the area, quite literally by storm, an amazing sight was discovered.

A BMW appeared to be abandoned in broad daylight, after being stolen, according to WKBW News.
As a result of it being left to fend for itself in the elements, it has become an auto-igloo with ice adorning the seats and snow settled on the interior.

The abandoned BMW’s location lies in Hamburg, NY, in the parking lot of Hoak’s restaurant, and has now even become a tourist attraction, thanks to it being battered by water from Lake Erie.
There was an update on the car’s status from the cops
After speaking with local authorities, WKBW reported that police had confirmed that the car had been stolen from Buffalo.
Now, the owner was subsequently working on getting the car towed back where it belongs.

“I have not talked to police, but I know they are on it,” Co-owner of Hoak’s restaurant, Kevin Hoak, said.
“It’s Buffalo people just come in and want to take pictures in front of it and whatnot.
“It’s kind of become a destination to come check it out.”
But hey, at least it provided locals with some storm-based entertainment.
Local man Steven Mitchell told the news channel that it was ‘one of the most interesting things I’ve seen in quite a while’.
It won’t shock you that the BMW went viral, but one thing is for sure: when the owner finally gets their car back, it will be one mighty clean-up mission.
