Man exploring abandoned junkyard amazed by the kind of things people leave inside cars

An American YouTuber exploring an abandoned junkyard – similar to the one in the video above – was amazed at what he could see left behind by people inside various cars.

YouTuber CrowRanaBurger went to a huge junkyard, where most of the cars were dumped after sustaining serious accident damage.

The video shows him trawling through various junk with a friend, with everything from old drink bottles to soft toys left behind.

The video is a good indicator of how much of a time capsule a car can become after being abandoned.

All manner of rubbish fills the abandoned cars

A quick watch of the video shows just how much junk sits in these cars.

Most cars have some form of drink bottle left in them, such as a bottle that still has water in it.

However, one car had some old diet Sam’s Cola, which has likely been left for a long time and certainly not safe to drink.

We see more than just drinks lying around, though. The two guys find an old laptop on top of a car, likely left by the previous owner when the car was dumped.

Unsurprisingly, the laptop is reluctant to turn on despite their best efforts.

The two find a registration document from 2001 showcasing how long some of the cars have been here.

Yet some cars have been left abandoned for much longer than that.

The junkyard is full of cars from all eras

The beauty of this junkyard is the sheer breadth and depth of its inventory.

Old classics from Ford, Buick, and Chevrolet make up a large portion of the vehicles.

But there are plenty of other, more modern ones dumped and abandoned.

The team checked out an MPV with fully functioning sliding doors.

The interior seats are in excellent condition.

The junk left in the more modern cars is quite different from what is in the older ones.

CDs and DVDs are some of the items, with even Pokemon cards left in a center console.

The video provides a fascinating glimpse into what awaits some cars after an accident.

While the YouTubers don’t go into massive amounts of detail about the cars, it’s still interesting to see them in this state and what their owners have left behind.
