This 1970 Dodge Super Bee was abandoned by its owner in Oregon while reportedly on the run from the police.
The car was ditched on a rural farm in 1983 and has sat there untouched ever since.
The Dodge was only discovered four decades later.
And now the guys who found it are trying to get it running again.

Man finds abandoned Dodge Super Bee with an interesting story
Jeremy from the YouTube channel Shade Tree Vintage Auto found this abandoned Dodge Super Bee on an Oregon farm last year.
He shared the story behind the car, revealing that it was once owned and abandoned by a fugitive on the run.
They simply left it there, and nobody attended to the machine for 40 years until the YouTuber found it.
Considering it was out in the open for four decades, it was in surprisingly decent condition.
It’s not the only car to have survived after being left abandoned outside.
This Dodge Challenger 340 shined after its first wash in 40 years, and this ’69 Super Bee also looked great after years in hiding.
Although this Dodge’s factory paint faded away and some areas were damaged, it was far from being a rust bucket.
The interior, too, had worn out with time but wasn’t too far gone.
As for the actual hardware, it still had the stock 383 cubic-inch naturally aspirated V8 powertrain.
The YouTuber also managed to start the engine after a few failed cranks and some minor work.
What happened to the muscle car?
Spending 40 years away from the road is no joke, which is why this Dodge Super Bee needed more than just ‘regular maintenance’ to be completely functional again.
It had issues with the air filters, fuel gauges, and the mysterious oil leaks.
But now, the YouTuber has restored the muscle car and given it a new chance at life.
He had to replace the stock 383 engine with an upgraded 440 cubic-inch block to get here, though.
With newly added brakes and a revamped transmission, this classic is rolling once more.
Considering its history, this was an absolutely incredible barn find.
The Dodge Super Bee wasn’t the only car to be ditched by its driver while on the run.
Someone stashed this 1969 Corvette 427 to hide it from the police and these three Dodge Challengers were locked away after several run-ins with the cops.
