People heartbroken at Lamborghini Huracán EVO sat abandoned in a Florida garage

This Liberty Walk Lamborghini Huracán EVO was spotted in a garage in Tampa, Florida, and no one knows what happened to it.

It looks abandoned, but people are trying to figure out why, and for how long.

People are, of course, coming up with wildly different theories.

But there was one detail that made commenters on Reddit quite angry.

Redditors don’t forgive and don’t forget

Fun fact: there are studies that analyze and categorize the tenor of comments and users on social media.

Facebook comments, apparently, are the most likely to be negative.

YouTube is arguably the most positive platform when it comes to comments, Instagram is spam-town, and let’s not even mention X.

But Reddit is like its own universe.

People on Reddit tend to know everything about everything, and they never forget or forgive anything.

So whenever somebody shares pictures of abandoned cars, for example, the comment section is always a riot.

There’s always someone who knows the exact model and the exact spec, there’s always someone who knows the full story, and there’s always someone who notices every tiny detail.

Crucially, there are also theories – some are solid, some are ridiculous, some are sort of in between.

On this occasion, a user who goes by Educational_Aide_145 shared pictures of a few abandoned cars in Tampa, Florida, one of which was a Liberty Walk Lamborghini Huracán EVO.

The Lamborghini was missing a very important part

They’re never going to admit it out loud, but one of the reasons Mercedes phased out its iconic hood-mounted three-pointed star in favor of grille-integrated badges is that the ornaments were constantly being stolen.

It’s the same reason why the Rolls-Royce ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ can be retracted into the hood when the car is parked.

The official reason is that hood ornaments do not comply with pedestrian safety rules, which is true, but it’s also red herring.

So when you take a closer look at this Lamborghini Huracán EVO in Tampa, Florida, two things stand out.

First, this Lambo is in good shape, apart from being covered in dust.

The tires don’t even appear to be flat.

Second, the hood emblem is missing.

It’s funny because that’s so obvious and yet, at the same time, it’s not so easy to notice.

Interestingly, some people noted that the car is not necessarily abandoned.

“How do you know it’s abandoned?” one Redditor asked.

“Y’all don’t understand rich people if you (incorrectly) presume this is abandonment,” another echoed.

A third Redditor had a different theory.

“If you have money like that, you could be on perpetual vacation and end up using that car for like a month. With a bunch more in other garages around the world. It’s not uncommon at all,” they wrote.

We don’t know whether this was abandoned here deliberately or simply being used occasionally by somebody who never washes their cars.

But one thing is clear: this Lambo, which if our eyes aren’t deceiving us even comes with a Liberty Walk bodykit, has been sitting untouched for a while.
