The billionaire businessman who hit headlines after airlifting his McLaren Senna GTR 57 stories so he could use it as an ornament in his penthouse is adding a  Koenigsegg Jesko to his collection.

Australian car enthusiast Adrian Portelli wanted to display his McLaren as the ‘centerpiece’ of his Melbourne home.

To achieve his goal, he enlisted the help of a crane to lift the car almost 60 stories into the air to his penthouse apartment.

Now, he’s set to become the proud owner of a $3 million Koenigsegg Jesko to his collection.

He hit headlines after lifting a McLaren into his penthouse

Adrian Portelli is a serious car-lover – so much so, that he forked out to have his McLaren Senna GTR deposited directly into his living room.

The businessman explained that as the car isn’t road-legal, it made sense to put it on display in his house – he kind of has a point, right?

“It was sitting in a factory and I can’t drive it on the road,” he told 9 News.

“I decided to have it craned up there instead.

“It’s an art piece.”

Not quite content with having one of the most sought-after and expensive vehicles sitting in his lounge – not to mention owning an envy-inducing car collection – Portelli is set to add a Koenigsegg Jesko to his haul.

According to the Egg Registry Portelli is set to take delivery of a right-hand drive Jesko Attack with the chassis number 7361.

Not only is he about to get the Jesko, Portelli has just bought an $84K Jeep.

A Jeep doesn’t exactly match the rest of his supercar-heavy collection, but he’s not leaving it as is.

Portelli has thrown big money into customizing it, turning the Jeep into an epic off-road beast.

The Koenigsegg Jesko is a very special vehicle

It will be only the second Koenigsegg Jesko in the whole of Australia and features exposed carbon fiber bodywork with gold leaf detailing on the front splitter and aero flicks, sides, rear wing endplates, and mirror stalks.

The gold leaf comes embossed with the Koenigsegg ‘Ghost’ logo. Fancy.

The inside is just as flashy as the outside, with Desiato Alcantara interiors featuring complimentary gold stitching.

Under the hood, the supercar is fitted with a 5.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine that can produce 1,280 horsepower using standard gasoline or a mind-boggling 1,600hp using E85 biofuel.

Unlike his McLaren Senna, the Koenigsegg Jesko is road-legal, so it seems that Portelli could be taking the car to the road, rather than placing it on display like others in his multimillion-dollar car collection.
