This Electric-Vertical Take-Off and Landing, AKA eVTOL, aircraft from Geely’s Aerofugia has achieved a new mega milestone.

The company’s product, the AE200-100, has finally hit the production line, according to an update.

It’s in high demand too, with the first year of orders already fully booked up.

The eVTOL completed a test flight earlier this year, and now it’s ready to take the world by storm.

In China, a special eVTOL called Aerofugia is setting off into the sunset

It’s no secret that China is taking the world by storm.

From EV advancements to new AI findings, China is helping out in ways like never before.

But get ready to be impressed as Geely’s Aerofugia eVTOL product has just hit the production line.

The Electric-Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft uses electric power to propel into the sky and has many handy uses.

The product called AE200 features six seats and has a whopping 124 miles (200km) of range, with the clever electric vehicle perfectly equipped to help with ‘urban air mobility, low-altitude tourism, and emergency rescue’.

“The prototype variant unveiled debuts an innovative ‘eight-rotor, four-tilted-wing’ configuration.

“As a 6-seat all-electric piloted manned eVTOL aircraft, AE200 offers multiple advantages including safety, economy, comfort, and environmental protection,” explained the company in a press release.

The eVTOL could soon be part of everyday life, so watch this space as the AE200 has completed an ‘all tilt transition flight test’ and is the first manned eVTOL in China to tick this off the list.

The start of production also implies that it has entered the final hurdle of achieving a certification that proves it’s airworthy.

It seems that the orders are rolling in, too, with over 1,000 orders already placed.

The AE20-100 is the first product that has been independently developed, and it’s clear to see that this is just the start of the excitement.

The electric drive system is cheaper than your ‘conventional’ helicopter too – which is good news all round.

The eVTOL is the future of air travel

Geely isn’t the only company that is taking the EV airspace by storm.

Other companies are also showing off their technological developments, and it’s clear to see that many gearheads are fans of the new EV aircraft variant.

In fact, recently, the world’s most popular personal eVTOL Jetson One demonstrated a flight in Arkansas.

Plus, China’s EH216-S eVTOL made history with the first pilotless passenger flight in Africa.
