Scroll Amazon long enough and you’ll find some truly wild things – and now you can add a Hummer H1 to your basket.
However, this one doesn’t come in hot at six figures.
This one’s listed for under a grand, complete with 4WD, locking diffs, and a chassis built like the real deal.
And yes, it ships straight to your door with free delivery.

The ‘Hummer’ that fits in your shopping cart
Okay, to be clear: you’re not getting a six-ton desert stormer for $989.
What Amazon is serving up is a 1/10 scale Hummer H1 RC crawler – and it’s an absolute unit in the hobby world.
Nearly 21 inches long, weighing in at 24 pounds, and built on a full metal chassis, it’s even more miniature than a toy.
But there’s no flimsy plastic in sight.

This crawler’s got a trapezoidal steel frame, independent double wishbone suspension, hydraulic shocks, and even a two-speed gearbox.
You can lock the differentials, switch between high and low gearing, and throw it up a 45-degree incline without it flinching.
The top speed is about 18.6mph, which is plenty fast when the thing is barreling across rocks, dirt, or your living room floor.
And the realism doesn’t stop with the drivetrain.
The hood, doors, and tailgate actually open.

The interior is fully detailed.
A built-in light and sound system makes the whole thing feel like a shrunken war wagon.
Add in the fact it’s big enough to haul across rugged trails and small enough to stash under your desk, and you’ve got the weirdest impulse buy Amazon has offered in a while.
And it’s all for under $1,000.
Amazon is becoming prolific in the automotive space
This isn’t the first time Amazon’s listings have veered into the unexpected.
The giant RC Hummer is just the latest reminder that the platform isn’t just about books or kitchen gear anymore – it’s become a marketplace where the strangest big-ticket items sit right alongside everyday essentials.
Recently, Amazon Autos began listing certified pre-owned cars from Hyundai dealers, complete with warranties and even a return window – a move that makes browsing for your next sedan feel no different than ordering a toaster.
Days later, the site expanded again, this time offering used Hertz rental cars across cities like Los Angeles and Houston.

Buyers complete the purchase online and pick up the vehicle at a Hertz center within three days, blending Amazon convenience with old-school car shopping.
And as if those listings aren’t surprising enough, one YouTuber discovered Amazon really does have everything, ordering a $39,000 prefab house from the online retailer.
It unfolded like a pop-up tent, came with a toilet and shower, and not a single electrical outlet – turning into a viral mix of off-grid chaos and comedy.
Compared to that, a $989 Hummer H1 crawler feels almost sensible.
Almost.
