This tiny home on Amazon comes with a garage, but it’ll still cost you less than your car.
With housing shortages being a hot topic in various countries around the world, tiny houses have been put forward as a solution.
They’re quick to build and are more eco-conscious, so they tick a lot of boxes.
Sellers on Amazon are now offering tiny homes for a tempting $13k, but there’s a catch.

Tiny houses on Amazon – small solutions for a big problem?
When it comes to houses, we all secretly long for a mansion, right?
Whether it’s a complex out in the California desert or a Ferrari-inspired palace down in Florida, our taste for housing tends to be ‘Go big or go home’.
But these places carry a hefty price tag with them, so most of us have to make do.

And with multiple countries struggling to cope with housing shortages, some of us will have to compromise on our extravagant fantasies.
That’s where tiny homes come in handy. Not only are they compact and convenient, they can be very affordable too.
And they’re available on Amazon now.
This lovely little home has two bedrooms, a large living room, and a garage space that can fit a BMW Sedan.
It looks modern and compact, so there’s a lot to love about this place.
And at $13,678, it’s a total steal.
You aren’t likely to get a better deal on housing anywhere else.

Heck, you’d be putting more money into the car that sits in the garage than the house itself.
And to be fair to the house, calling it ‘tiny’ might be overdoing it.
As noted by Southern Living, the house packs in a lot of amenities – pre-installed plumbing, electricity, a rooftop deck, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Is there a catch that comes with this property?
“The spacious interior features living, dining, kitchen, and bedroom areas, providing ample space for your lifestyle needs,” read the listing on Amazon.
“Constructed with durable shipping containers, this modular home boasts a sleek and contemporary design.
“Enjoy the convenience of easy assembly and the flexibility to relocate if desired. With its garage and outdoor deck, this container house combines functionality with style.”

Did you catch that bit towards the end?
‘The flexibility to relocate if desired’.
You could quite literally move your house, if you wanted to! How cool is that?
However, there is one aspect of the house that has perhaps been overlooked.
A bathroom. Yup, the floorplan doesn’t indicate that there’s one anywhere, either on the first or second floor.
Two bedrooms, plenty of space for a car, but nowhere to wash your hair or brush your teeth.
And that’s before we get to, ahem, the matter of the toilet.
It’s a shame really, because we would probably count this a dealbreaker.

What good is a swanky garage if you’re washing yourself down with a hose out back?
It’s not like there isn’t space either – an ensuite could easily be added to the bedrooms.
Or that previously mentioned rooftop deck could be put to some good use.
Should they add in a bathroom, we could easily see this tiny home proving a big hit with home hunters looking for a bargain.
