American man fully restores $400 car rotting in junkyard into a reliable runner 'like it's Lego'

This man bought a $400 Taurus that was rotting in a junkyard, and now it’s a time capsule on wheels.

When YouTuber Shyzah outbid a junkyard to buy a battered 1993 Ford Taurus for just $400, it wasn’t exactly a dream machine.

It had a broken title, failed emissions tests, and looked like it hadn’t been loved since Y2K.

But that didn’t stop him from bringing it back to life – piece by piece.

A forgotten ‘90s icon, the Ford Taurus was once America’s best-selling car for five years straight.

But this one? It was ready for the crusher.

But its poor condition didn’t deter Shyzah.

He got to work scrubbing the body, sanding the hood, and restoring all four hubcaps with OEM silver paint.

Inside was a horror show of old garbage, cracked plastic, and dirt-caked everything.

He vacuumed, pressure-washed the floor mats, glued the cracked dash, and brought the interior back to life – all with a little patience and elbow grease.

Under the hood, the real mission began.

The Taurus had a dead tie rod, blown suspension, leaking power steering, and bad engine mounts.

He fixed it all – even converting the outdated R12 AC system to modern R134a and swapping out the entire radiator after it exploded during a test drive.

And now, miraculously, it runs.

No more leaks, no warning lights, and no more emissions issues.

Shyzah turned this junkyard reject into a nostalgic daily driver that cost less than most iPhones – and it drives like it just rolled out of 1993.
