These guys saved an abandoned sports car – an Austin Healey Sprite – from the crusher, and they even managed to get the tiny British sports car for free.
The owner of the wrecking yard asked them if they could work their magic with the Healey Sprite.
Then he went the extra mile by telling them they could get it for free, but on two conditions.
They had to fix it, and then give it away.

About the abandoned British sports car
The guys from the WD Detailing YouTube channel got a call from the owner of a scrapyard who wanted to get rid of an abandoned British sports car that had been sitting there for 31 years.
The car in question is an Austin Healey Sprite, a vehicle that’s relatively unknown globally but is actually considered pretty iconic in the UK.
The previous owned passed away 31 years ago, and the vehicle had no title, so the scrapyard owner had no idea what to do with it.

These YouTubers came up with an idea.
They wanted to fix it, and then give it away to a subscriber.
When the scrapyard owner learned about their plan, he decided to give them the car for free, as long as they promised to keep their word.
Ordinarily, people would say this ‘wasn’t easy’, but the truth is it was easy.
It just took a very long time and supernatural amounts of patience.
But they got the job done and, once they were done with it, the Austin Healey Sprite looked as good as new, and ready for the giveaway.

The go-to guys if you want to…wash your car
The guys from WD Detailing essentially built a whole YouTube channel around washing and detailing cars.
A lot of channels focus on restoration and DIY projects, but no one had thought about a channel with a strong focus on just cleaning the car.
The result is outstanding, and it’s incredible to see just how better and newer a car looks right after a simple wash.
A while back, they gave a decrepit Acura NSX with mice living inside it its first wash in a million years.
They also did with a Ferrari that hadn’t been cleaned in nearly 30 years and with a Pontiac that hadn’t been washed in over 40 years.
They even did with a Tesla, and it’s truly satisfying stuff to watch.
