You’d probably have a hard time finding this country on a globe, but it should be on your radar – as the people here buy more Porsche 911s than almost anywhere else on Earth.

Europe has a rich history of car manufacturing, from Germany to Italy and the United Kingdom.

But in this country, the residents taste is particularly noteworthy.

The Porsche 911 is very popular here, but why is that?

If you like Porsche 911s, get yourself over to this country

The country isn’t one you will see much in tourist books.

Andorra is a very small principality, nestled in between France and Spain.

Given its location in the Pyrenees, it’s also staggeringly beautiful, with perfect roads and scenery to enjoy cars, motorcycles, and basically any other mode of transportation.

Thanks to a very low tax rate and booming banking and tourism industries, this country is very prosperous.

Only 81,000 people live here, but they come out on the wealthier side of things.

The Porsche 911 is a staple in the country, and was the country’s best selling car in 2024.

Felipe Munoz, who works for the automotive analysis firm JATO Dynamics, was the one who collated the data on this.

Munoz runs an excellent Instagram page called @carindustryanalysis, and he posted an interesting graphic outlining the best-selling cars in Andorra in 2024.

All in all, 83 Porsche 911s were sold that year, representing a 41 percent increase from the previous year.

While 83 may not sound like a massive amount, this still puts it 36 ahead of the second place car.

Which cars also feature in the top ten?

Glad you asked!

What other cars sell well in Andorra?

Second place went to a Toyota GR Yaris, with 47 sold.

The Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Macan filled up third and fourth place at 46 and 45.

Porsche has evidently done very well in Andorra, with three of the brand’s cars featuring in this top ten round-up.

Other cars on the list included the Cupra Formentor, Seat Arona, Hyundai i20, Mini Countryman, Hyundai Tucson, and Suzuki Ignis.

There must be something about European principalities that attracts flashy cars.

Monaco is a similar case – with many fancy cars being spotted there over the years from Ferraris to Porsches.
