A Shelby Car Show is set to welcome all American muscle cars, not just those from Ford, for the first time.
The show is the ‘Make the American Muscle Car Great Again show’, and it’s being held at the end of April 2025 at Shelby American’s Las Vegas HQ.
The traditionally Ford-centric event, except for a few Shelby-modified Dodge vehicles, is now set to honor all makes and models of US muscle cars.
This is a big change for the event, and one that could see a whole host of other excellent muscle car magic on show for the first time at the Shelby HQ.

The Shelby event is a four-day celebration
The American muscle car event is typically run over four days.
The focus of the show is usually on Ford Mustangs as well as a handful of Dodges.
It’s a big deal for the company as well.
Typically, members of the Shelby family, company executives, international guests, and automotive celebrities are all in attendance.
The move to allow all other American muscle cars to attend, then, might surprise some.
However, as the co-CEO of the company, M. Neil Cummings, Esq., has said, there’s good reason for it.

With rumors that the Camaro and Hemi-powered Mopars might make a return, it only makes sense to allow them to attend the Shelby event.
Plus, demand for American muscle cars is still high, in terms of both classic and modern muscle.
The event is free of charge for spectators
One of the best aspects of the event is that it’s free for spectators to attend.
It’s also cheaper for exhibitors, as only a small charge is made to those entering their cars.
And any proceeds made from the show go to the Carroll Shelby Foundation, a medical charity.
But the benefits are even greater, as participants are given breakfast and an American flag.
Cummings also said the move to allow more brands to attend could ignite a new ‘golden era of muscle cars.’

Even the introduction of the Dodge Charger Daytona EV doesn’t look to have hurt muscle cars’ popularity.
Should the move be a success, it’s likely future events will also allow for all other American muscle cars to attend.
That would help make this one of the greatest muscle car events in the United States.
