Woman discovers Apple CarPlay feature she never knew about despite having it for years — and people are saying it's a 'dangerous' discovery

When this woman discovered an Apple CarPlay feature, she had to take to the internet to share it.

There’s been no shortage of stories online about hidden Apple CarPlay tips and tricks.

But the one highlighted in this video is a new one on us.

And if the reaction online is anything to go by, it’s one that many have labelled a ‘dangerous’ discovery.

This Apple CarPlay feature isn’t for the faint of heart

Usually, when you seen an article about an Apple CarPlay feature, it’ll be something relatively standard.

Whether that’s converting wired to wireless or activating voice commands, there’s a whole lot of information out there.

Many of these have been touted as ‘changing your driving experience’.

Will this new feature do that for you?

That depends on your mileage, if you pardon the pun.

TikToker Santana, who goes by santanitizer on the app, shared a hack online that has generated 1.6 million views online.

“I am just founding out, after years of owning my car,” Santana declared.

“That I can order a Dr Pepper from Apple CarPlay!”

To be fair, it’s not just a Dr Pepper that’s up for grabs – a Market Salad, and a small Mac and Cheese were also on the menu.

But still, many people were enraptured by this soda discovery.

“This is very dangerous to me,” one user commented.

“This is a danger to society,” another declared.

Can we expect Dr Pepper sales to skyrocket in the wake of this discovery?

Only time will tell.

Want to get in on the Dr Pepper action? Here’s what you need to know

If you’re feeling a little quenched, you’re not alone – the whole comments section was feeling thirsty.

So here’s the crucial question, how do you order a Dr Pepper through your Apple CarPlay?

In the comments section, Santana revealed how to enable shopping.

“iPhone Settings > General > CarPlay > [Your Car] to ensure apps are in the ‘Include’ list,” she commented.

From this, restaurants are available to drivers – Chick-Fil-A, Domino’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, you name it.
