This Tesla Cybertruck owner from Arizona got a surprise when he took it in for a minor repair.
However, even though the issue was more severe than he first thought, all hope was not lost.
Tesla even did him a solid when he needed a temporary ride.
But what did other owners make of the situation?

Cybertrucks are famed across the EV world
Tesla’s pickup truck offering took the EV world by storm.
The truck can be used for just about anything thanks to its high-tech capabilities.
In fact, one single Cybertruck was even able to power a $25,000 tiny house, and if that wasn’t enough, the wildest version on the planet in Florida almost looks like a Ferrari.
But, as with any type of machinery, things can sometimes go wrong, which one Tesla owner found out the hard way.
The Cybertruck had a charging issue

Tesla owner Ryan Patch posted his issue to a Facebook group for gearheads, explaining that his Foundation AWD simply stopped charging in April, whilst at home.
“I took it to a supercharger and it would charge there so I thought my six-year-old home charger bit the dust,” he explained.
“I made a service ticket and they told me to bring my truck in….just over 15,000 miles.
“It was there a week or so, then they told me I need a new HV battery.
“The estimated finish date has been pushed twice and I’m still waiting.”
So, what he thought was a quick fix actually turned out to be a bigger issue than he initially bargained for, with a long wait time.
But all hope was not lost.
Tesla did the driver a big favor

After chopping in his Cybertruck to get fixed once and for all, he got a surprise.
“I did get an almost new CT loaner to drive but my truck has been in service all month. Oh, and service was able to get me in two weeks early as well. I figured I’d share just in case other people have similar issues,” he added.
Tesla gave the owner a new Cybertruck to drive around with a limit of driving up to 200 miles per day.
Online, some users had some things to say about the experience.
“Glad they got you in another CT I’d tell them to take their time and put the miles on their vehicle,” said one user.
“Interesting, thanks for the heads up, hopefully this isn’t a bigger issue,” added another EV fan.
