A man who had a 48-hour demo of a Tesla Cybertruck was left so impressed that he’s considering getting rid of his Ford F-150 truck to get his hands on the EV.

The man explained that he was brand-new to the world of EVs and usually drove a F-150.

However, after spending a couple of days driving the Cybertruck, he was thinking about making the switch.

He was even contemplating selling his Ford to get one.

He drove the Tesla Cybertruck for 48 hours and was impressed

After first being unveiled back in 2019, the Tesla Cybertruck has been on a bit of a bumpy road.

Its production was hit by several delays, meaning the first Cybertrucks didn’t begin rolling off the production line until late 2023.

And while the EV truck was released to plenty of fanfare, it’s since transpired that sales haven’t been as strong as the automaker had hoped.

Elon Musk previously told investors that Tesla was prepared to churn out up to 250,000 Cybertrucks a year by 2025, but recently released figures showed that sales had slumped to just 5,000 deliveries per quarter.

However, the truck still has plenty of fans out there who are more than happy with their purchase.

One man from Texas is so pleased with his Cybertruck, he admitted he was thinking about getting another to use as backup, and another happy customer said that he couldn’t imagine driving any other vehicle ever again

More recently, a man called Jason Mark in Arizona took to the Tesla Cybertruck Owners Facebook page to share his opinion after driving one for a couple of days, and it’s safe to say he was impressed.

“I just finished with a 48-hour demo on this Tesla Cybertruck,” he wrote.

“I have to say, I was very impressed. Now, I am thinking of selling my Ford F-150 to get one.”

He wanted to know about the potential negatives of owning the EV

As well as heaping praise on the Cybertruck, Mark turned to the group to ask about the cons of ownership, while also requesting wall charger suggestions.

And he was smart to do so, as Cybertruck owners actually have plenty of changes they’d like to make to their EV.

In a post online, several owners chipped in to share what they’d like to see on future generations of the truck, should there be one.

One owner said he’d like to see a more versatile tailgate, like you might find on a Ford truck, while others suggested a larger steering wheel.

And it’ll probably come as no surprise to learn that several folks said they’d like to see the Cybertruck offer better range.
