A dashcam video of Arkansas police pulling over a speeding McLaren is giving the internet a good laugh.
A state trooper clocked the supercar going 92 mph in a 55 zone—then called it a ‘Lambo’ over the radio.
Things only got funnier when she approached the car and repeatedly mispronounced the name as ‘McLoren’.
It’s a mix of small-town charm and big-city horsepower that nobody saw coming.

A McLaren 765LT is pretty rare
To be fair to the state trooper, McLaren isn’t exactly a household name, at least compared to more recognizable brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini.
In particular, the McLaren 765LT is an extremely rare and powerful machine, being able to go head-to-head with a military cargo plane in a race.
Spotting one in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where the population is just over 100,000, is probably as likely as seeing a UFO in person.
In that sense, the trooper’s confusion is pretty understandable, although it’s also quite entertaining.

The situation got worse for the speeding McLaren driver
Once the $380,000 McLaren finally pulled over, the situation got even weirder.
The driver didn’t have his insurance or registration on hand, which isn’t ideal when you’re driving a car that can outrun a helicopter.
Making matters worse, the Maryland license plate came back as invalid, raising questions about whether the car was properly registered at all.
Still, despite driving a car with a 765-horsepower engine and the ability to hit 60mph in under three seconds, the driver resisted the temptation to flee.
Instead, he stayed put and was polite throughout the stop, even as the trooper continued calling his car a ‘McLoren.’
At the end of the day, nobody was hurt, and there was no dramatic car chase.
All that resulted from the stop was a funny clip that car lovers and casual viewers alike can enjoy.
