It took a bit longer than expected, but the Aston Martin Valhalla is finally here.

One of the most technically advanced supercars ever made by Aston, the Valhalla was announced years ago, but production hasn’t begun yet.

That’s about to change, though.

Aston Martin has finally completed testing, and the car will be launched soon.

The Aston Martin Valhalla is – almost – ready for production

Aston is performing the final calibrations on its first mid-engine hybrid supercar.

If everything goes to plan, and apparently it will, the Valhalla will be here in the second quarter.

The automakers tested two cars in the UK as well as on the IDIADA race track in Spain.

The car, as you can see from the pictures, looks stunning.

Aston showcased two different liveries, one combining Podium Green with a Lime Green stripe and then another one, a bit more understated, in Verdan Jade with Valkyrie Gold accents.

That marque says the car will be limited to 999 units, with an estimated price of $800,000.

Inspired by F1

Just like its ‘sibling’, the record-breaking Valkyrie, the Valhalla is a huge deal for Aston.

And it is also the company’s first-ever plug-in hybrid supercar.

Sitting at the heart of this beast is a Mercedes-sourced V8 – the most powerful ever put in an Aston – and three electric motors.

It puts out 1,064HP in total.

The Valhalla was designed with the Aston Martin F1 team, and it shows.

The British automaker says the car has been developed extensively since the concept with help from its Formula 1 team.

That’s right, drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll – whose father Lawrence bought a stake in the company in 2020 – have helped shape its development.

Apparently, this system can generate over 600KG – 1,322LB – of downforce at 149MPH.
