A custom Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 owned by Charles Leclerc is up for auction, giving fans and collectors the chance to buy a unique custom motorcycle once ridden by an F1 star.
The bike was delivered to the Ferrari driver in 2020 before being transformed into the Stage 4 version of the Serie Apex 2.0 by Paris workshop Bad Winners.
It now features lighter materials, revised components, and a distinctive look compared to the standard Husqvarna Vitpilen.
With bids still below its original price tag, the auction could end with a figure far lower than its €20,990 ($24,536) starting value.

The custom motorcycle’s upgrades include a modified frame, carbon fibre bodywork, and DYMAG carbon wheels for reduced weight.
It runs a full exhaust system with a decat setup and SC-Project end can, while fueling is controlled by a Power Commander V. A lightweight lithium battery is fitted to improve handling and acceleration response.
Stage 4 is the top specification offered by Bad Winners for the Husqvarna Vitpilen 701, combining sharper handling with increased performance.

The odometer shows just 3,000 km (1,864 miles), with most of that recorded before the custom build was completed.
The limited use makes it an appealing purchase for collectors looking for a machine in near-new condition.
At the time of writing, bidding sits at around €6,500 ($7,597). The final price will depend on late interest from buyers and whether its link to an F1 star pushes competition higher.
Past sales of celebrity-owned motorcycles have varied, with some exceeding expectations and others staying surprisingly low.
Why F1 stars turn to motorcycles
Charles Leclerc is part of a long tradition of Formula 1 drivers who enjoy riding motorcycles away from the track.
Names such as Ayrton Senna, Mark Webber, and Lewis Hamilton have all been linked to two-wheel machines, often citing the direct and engaging riding experience as the draw.
The Husqvarna Vitpilen is known for its lightweight frame, agile handling, and distinctive styling, which makes it a popular base for a custom motorcycle.

In Stage 4 form, it gains additional performance and a unique look without losing the minimalist design that defines the model.
Bad Winners has produced only a limited number of Stage 4 Husqvarna Vitpilen 701s, each tailored to order.
This example adds another layer of interest through its previous ownership by Charles Leclerc.

This combination of a rare build, low mileage, and F1 history will make this auction one to watch for both motorcycle collectors and motorsport fans.
The outcome will show how the market values the mix of specification, scarcity, and provenance.
Whatever the final bid, Charles Leclerc’s custom motorcycle represents a notable crossover between Formula 1 and the custom bike world.
