A stunning one-of-100 James Bond Edition BMW Z3 is set to go under the hammer, and it’s got a surprisingly low valuation.
BMW introduced its Z3 sports car in 1995, and briefly appeared in GoldenEye the same year.
To tie-in with the release of the movie, the carmaker released a special James Bond Edition.
And an upcoming auction is set to let someone get their hands on one of these rare cars.

The James Bond Edition BMW Z3 comes with ‘007’ badging
When you think of James Bond cars, your mind probably goes to Aston Martin.
But it was actually a BMW Z3 that made history by becoming the first car to be revealed to the public in a major motion picture when it popped up in 1995’s GoldenEye.

To commemorate that cool bit of cinematic history, BMW annouunceed it would build 50 James Bond Edition Z3 models.
However, when this initial allocation sold out within days, the carmaker upped the number of special editions to 100.
Them was finished in Atlantic Blue Metallic paint over a Saddle leather interior, the car featured 007 branding, numbered plaques, and came with a special commemorative trim.
And one of these special editions, number 66 out of 100, is set to go under the hammer at Bonhams Movie Car Collection auction later this month.
This particular model has just 8,300 miles on the clock and is in pristine condition.

The vehicle also comes with its original phone kit, a file detailing its history, and its past documentation.
Although a super rare find, the 1996 James Bond Edition BMW Z3 has a pretty reasonable valuation of between $23,000 and $35,000.
There are a bunch of other famous cars in the collection
If a James Bond Edition Z3 isn’t your thing, the auction is packed with other vehicles from movies and TV.
There are several cars that appeared on-screen in the Fast and Furious franchise, including a specially-built 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII that was driven by the late Paul Walker in 2 Fast 2 Furious, and a 1970 Dodge Charger that featured in Fast and Furious 7.

The cars will be sold alongside John Wick’s beloved 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, which featured in the sequel, and a handful of others like the 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victory from Men in Black 2.
The Movie Car Collection auction kicks off on November 28.
