The chance to own a Bentley driven by King Charles doesn’t come around often, especially when the royal chariot in question is a luxurious 2013 Bentley Mulsanne.

Next month, that opportunity arrives courtesy of UK auction house H&H Classics.

The stately sedan, once used by His Majesty back when he was Prince Charles, will cross the block at the Millbrook sale on December 3.

And with an estimated price between $105,000 and $132,000, it’s shaping up to be quite the steal for a car with royal DNA.

Only 35,000 miles on the odometer

To be clear, King Charles didn’t personally own the 2013 Bentley Mulsanne.

Instead, Bentley’s Press & Special Vehicle Department loaned it to the royal household for official duties.

But it still served as a rolling throne for countless engagements, which is more than enough to brag to your friends about.

But royal ties aside, this car is desirable in its own right.

Under the expansive hood sits Bentley’s legendary 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8, good for 505 horsepower and an absurd 752 lb-ft of torque.

That’s enough to shove the 5,700-pound luxury vehicle to 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds.

Basically, this royal carriage ensured King Charles never arrived late to an engagement, although it’s unlikely anyone would have started without him.

Just over 35,000 miles appear on the odometer, remarkably low for a 12-year-old ultra-luxury cruiser.

The exterior sports a Deep Sapphire Blue finish befitting a king, while the interior goes full aristocrat with cream leather, hand-polished burr walnut trim, chrome switchgear, and those glorious deep-pile lambswool rugs.

It also offers all the tech expected of a flagship: adaptive air suspension, satellite navigation, digital TV and radio, climate control, and a power-operated trunk.

This Bentley is great for collectors of British royal memorabilia

After its royal tour ended in 2017, the sedan retired from public service and entered private hands, where it’s been maintained with the appropriate level of reverence.

H&H is including three keys, a Bentley car cover, and documentation verifying its royal credentials, so you don’t need to worry about people questioning your car’s pedigree.

With only around 700 UK-spec Mulsannes built before the model’s retirement in 2020, this particular car is rare even without its crown-adjacent history, although not quite as rare as the Bentley Mulsanne Grand Limousine.

For collectors of British royal memorabilia, or anyone who simply loves a proper V8 land yacht, this Mulsanne is shaping up to be one royally tempting prize.
