Mississippi man is selling off his entire secret collection of over 1,000 cars after barn find of the century

This very brave Mississippi man is selling off his entire secret collection of over 1,000 cars after he had the barn find of the century.

Meet Greg, a Mississippi businessman who started with a simple idea almost three decades ago: collect Cadillacs, and then maybe build a museum one day.

Greg got serious about his cars; he started buying different brands and filling up warehouses with what was steadily becoming a serious collection.

He quietly rescued a staggering number of vehicles, moving most of the machines indoors and keeping them maintained, but now the time has come for Greg’s vast collection of over 1,000 cars to go to new homes.

The incredible cars he’s selling from his 1,000-vehicle collection

His dream was to collect the most amazing cars and supercars from around the world and maybe one day start his own museum.

While he never started the museum, he certainly has a car collection, which is spread across six warehouses and spans over 1,000 cars. But, shockingly, he’s selling the lot.

Here’s just some of his collection:

American classics:

  • 259 Chevrolets
  • 109 Fords
  • 105 Cadillacs
  • 96 Pontiacs
  • 55 Mopars
  • 48 Lincolns
  • 35 Buicks

Muscle icons:

  • Chevelles
  • GTOs
  • C10 Short Beds

Low-mile time capsules:

  • C4 & C5 Corvettes
  • Anniversary Camaros

Curiosities:

  • A Ghostbusters-style wagon

This auction listing is the barn find of the century

Everything is headed to an online auction, split into waves, with the team directing bidders to Hagerty Marketplace for details and sign-up.

We can expect the first drop in October 2025, with another wave in spring 2026, and the most shocking part of this massive drop is that none of it has reserves.

Greg says that there’s a strong pay-it-forward vibe from his auction listing: he rescued many cars (often buying to help people in a bind) and now wants them back in circulation.

A no-reserve online auction is the cleanest way to disperse everything quickly and fairly to real enthusiasts.

Greg’s had his fun and found himself quite overwhelmed by the number of cars he has in his secret collection; now it’s time to share all the joy they’ve brought him with the rest of the world.
