This Swiss racing billionaire is auctioning off his $66 million collection of 42 hypercars in one go.
RM Sotheby’s is gearing up to present the Tailored for Speed Collection in Zurich in October.
What makes this auction particularly exciting is that these cars are being offered up without reserve.
That’s right – these cars are worth millions but there’s no minimum bid.

This collection is fit for a king, but it doesn’t belong to the Prince of Monaco or a Saudi Royal.
Instead, this enviable line-up belonged to a Swiss billionaire and his wife, and looks set to pull in more than $66 million.
But because this auction is offering up cars without reserve, meaning there’s no minimum bid, that leaves a lot of wiggle room for bidders.

Who knows? Somebody could be securing themselves a gem of a car for a remarkably cheap price.
Cars on offer include Ferrari’s XX trio, a LaFerrari Aperta, a Daytona SP3, and a Pagani Huayra BC.
A one-off masterpiece also made its way in there – the Ferrari Special Projects SP38 ‘Deborah’ to be exact.
Incidentally, it’s this car that is the giveaway for the collection’s mystery owner.
The ‘Deborah’ belongs to none other than Deborah Mayer and Claudio Schiavoni, the co-founders of racing teams Iron Lynx and Iron Dames.

The couple’s motorsports empire spans out across endurance championships like WEC and IMSA, catering to teams for Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche.
Other cars going up in the Tailored for Speed include a 2024 Huracán Tecnica 60th Anniversary Edition, a 2024 GT2 PRO, and a 2016 Bentley Continental GT3-R.
As you can see, it’s a treasure trove.
These auctions aren’t to be missed
There’s something undeniably exciting about a car auction.
The rush of excitement as bids come in, that sense of urgency, and that spirit of competition.
Getting a new car at the end of it doesn’t hurt either.
We’ve seen some great ones over the years.
Whether it’s a rare 2022 BMW M5 CS with just 1,900 miles on the clock or a 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 SW, there’s always something exciting up for grabs.
