The ultimate flex, they’re a physical manifestation of the wealth and status they’ve earned through their music.
One rapper to recently splash the cash on ‘bling’ is Busta Rhymes.

The legend himself recently commissioned Danny at TraxNYC to make him a 54mm Cuban chain fully iced with over 10,000 diamonds.
This isn’t the first time the New York-based jeweler has been commissioned to make jewelry for celebrities, though.
In the past, Danny has looked after the likes of Mr. Beast, Kodak Black, and Cardi B.
In a video posted by the jeweler to TikTok, he talks about the custom project and how delighted he was to fulfill it.
At the beginning of the video, Busta can be seen in the vault of the jewelry store ‘curling’ a bar of gold while sipping on what appears to be a glass of Champagne.
As you do.
Danny then magically appears with a large, ornate black box with a window opening.
The jeweler then opens the box to reveal the Cuban chain and a matching bracelet, also adorned with hundreds, if not thousands, of diamonds.
Clearly pleased with his new purchase, the rapper can be seen shaking Danny’s hand and embracing the jeweler.
Trying on the matching set, Busta Rhymes commented, “The craftsmanship on this sh*t is beautiful man.”
We’d have to agree – it clearly took many hours of work to craft the jewelry set, involving several people in the process whom Danny introduces in the video.
Busta Rhymes can then be seen wearing his new Cuban chain and bracelet, checking himself out in the mirror.
The pure size and weight of both items must be like a mini workout for Busta, but he seems very happy with his new purchases.
