Bentley has revived a 100-year-old car as an electric replica inspired by the legendary Bentley Blower, with limited production planned for collectors and enthusiasts.

The Blower Jnr is an 85 percent scale tribute to the original Bentley Blower, developed in collaboration with Hedley Studios and built for the road.

It combines the timeless aesthetic of the 1929 classic with an entirely modern 48-volt electric drivetrain.

Although compact and slower than today’s performance cars, it stands out as a luxurious and nostalgic reinterpretation of a 100-year-old car.

The original Bentley Blower was one of the most iconic cars of its era, powered by a supercharged 4.5-liter engine and built for high-speed endurance racing.

In contrast, the new electric replica delivers 20 horsepower and tops out at 45 mph in Europe and 25 mph in the United States, due to regional speed limitations.

Its 65-mile range may be modest, but it is more than enough for relaxed drives through cities or country lanes.

Hedley Studios, the company behind this project, has experience recreating other classics, including the Bugatti Baby II and Ferrari Testa Rossa J, making them a fitting partner for this Bentley Blower tribute.

Each Blower Jnr is built on a painted steel frame with an aluminum hood and lightweight carbon fiber components.

Hedley has used authentic materials and fabrication techniques wherever possible, even applying period-correct leaf springs and friction dampers.

The body is wrapped in a technical fabric that replicates the texture and style of the original Bentley Blower’s material finish.

These details help elevate the electric replica beyond novelty and into the realm of serious craftsmanship and design heritage.

This 100-year-old car tribute comes with a steep price tag, starting at around £90,000 or $121,000.

That figure reflects not only the rarity of the limited production run but also the bespoke nature of each build.

Only 349 examples will be produced, ensuring exclusivity for buyers who value history, design, and brand legacy.

Production is already underway, and early test drives took place on Jersey, a British island where a 40mph speed limit perfectly suits the car’s character.

For those who appreciate the artistry of the past brought into the present, the Bentley Blower Jnr offers a rare opportunity to own an electric replica that respects tradition while embracing modern trends.

It may not deliver on performance the way other luxury vehicles do, but that is not the point.

Instead, it captures the spirit of a 100-year-old car and reintroduces it to a new, limited-production generation with style, care, and undeniable presence.

It is a Bentley through and through, just with a smaller footprint and a quieter voice.
