Bentley has just given the world a first look at its upcoming electric SUV.
While the teaser image doesn’t show much – it’s still enough to confirm this will be Bentley’s first-ever fully electric car.
And the brand’s boldest leap yet.
The move signals a turning point for British luxury.

The first Bentley EV aims to redefine electric luxury
Bentley isn’t approaching electrification cautiously, it’s leading with a statement car.
Described as the ‘world’s first true luxury SUV’, the model will sit over 16 feet long and can add 100 miles of range in less than seven minutes.
That kind of speed puts it among the fastest-charging vehicles on the planet.
And it hasn’t even been revealed yet.

Production starts in 2026, with first deliveries in 2027, and prototypes are already being tested across the globe.
Bentley says the SUV’s design blends classic proportions with cutting-edge tech, promising unmistakable Bentley presence, even without a drop of fuel.
If the final form looks anything like that shadowy outline, this won’t be a quiet entry into the EV world – it’ll be a show-stopper.
Bentley’s bigger plan is about balance, not deadlines
This electric SUV arrives as Bentley rewrites its entire playbook.
Its Beyond100+ plan once called for a fully electric lineup by 2030, but that target’s now gone.
Instead, Bentley says hybrids and combustion engines will remain part of the mix until at least 2035.
A nod to continued demand in key markets like the US and Middle East.

CEO Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser insists this isn’t a retreat, calling it ‘a responsible evolution’ of the brand’s product cadence.
Behind the scenes, Crewe is getting a complete overhaul: the historic A1 building is being prepped for EV assembly, and a new Engineering Technical Centre is now live to lead the charge.
It’s a careful balance.
Keeping the roar of Bentley’s past alive while engineering a quieter, cleaner future.
Bentley’s first electric SUV might still be under wraps, but it already looks like the start of something rare.
A future that charges fast, but takes its time.
