Before the maneuver was officially banned, this Boeing 787 airplane was filmed performing a jaw-dropping touch-and-go landing at the 2012 Farnborough Airshow.
The display pilot, Mike Bryan, took a Qatar Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner through the maneuver, which is so impressive due to the airplane’s vast size and widebody design.
The commenters on the original Topfelya video were seriously impressed, especially by the steep climb immediately after touching down, and highlighted just how terrifying it would be to be in the plane.
