The new Brabus motorhome – the Big Boy 1200 – is the manufacturer’s first-ever foray into opulent mobile living. And it just won the most prestigious design award in the world.

The $1.6 million RV has been crowned Best of the Best at the Red Dot Awards.

That makes it the best-designed motorhome on the planet – and one of the boldest debuts the luxury world has seen this year.

Built with Belgian outfit STX Motorhomes, it comes loaded with a king-sized bed, spa-style bathroom, rooftop solar, and a PlayStation 5.

This $1.6M motorhome just out-designed the world’s best products

The Big Boy 1200 might be called a motorhome, but it feels more like a rolling penthouse.

The Brabus motorhome stretches 12m long and features expandable slide-outs that turn it into a rolling luxury apartment with more than 30 square meters of living space.

The sheer size putting it in the same league as Mariah Carey’s $1.8 million motorhome – the one that looks like a skyscraper on wheels.

Step inside, and you’re surrounded by Brabus’ signature finishes – carbon fiber panels, fine leather, and Alcantara everywhere you look.

There’s a full kitchen, a sleek lounge area, and a bathroom that wouldn’t look out of place in a high-end hotel.

Large skylights let natural light flood in, while motorized blinds offer privacy at the push of a button.

It’s loaded with high-end tech, too.

You’ll find two 43in 4K TVs, a built-in Wi-Fi route, a PS5, and an immersive sound system.

The motorhome can even run completely off-grid, thanks to integrated solar panels, a battery system, and a backup generator.

And it’s not just about lounging.

The Big Boy 1200 is powered by a 12.8L turbodiesel engine making 530 horsepower and a massive 2,600Nm of torque.

It doesn’t just cruise – it commands.

Brabus isn’t just tuning cars anymore – they’re redefining luxury on wheels

The Red Dot jury doesn’t hand out its top prize lightly.

Best of the Best status is typically only awarded to the most cutting-edge tech, fashion, and architecture.

For Brabus, it marks a significant shift – known for turning G-Wagens and performance cars into high-powered showpieces, the company has now proven it can do the same in the world of ultra-luxurious mobile living.

Every Big Boy 1200 is built to order and tailored to the buyer, providing the kind of customization worthy of such a heft price tag.

And now, with this award under its belt, it’s not just exclusive. It’s officially elite.

With the Brabus motorhome, the brand hasn’t just built an RV – it’s created a statement on wheels.

A rolling showcase of design, comfort, and engineering that doesn’t just raise the bar… it paves a new road entirely.
