This new Toyota AE86 could be yours for under $10,000 on Alibaba, but for all the automotive goodness, there is one mighty catch.
The Toyota AE86 was a force to be reckoned with in the motorsports sphere and even drifting, so the cut-price snap-up is music to some car enthusiasts’ ears.
However, as the saying goes, some things are simply too good to be true.
It seems that you need to select a minimum number of units to be able to place an order, and spoiler, it’s more than a few.

This is the Toyota AE86 like you’ve never seen it before
The Toyota AE86 is known by gearheads all over the world, but now the classic AE86 Trueno can be found for a cut price on the budget site Alibaba.
The model is popular for a variety of reasons, and was even a motorsport and drifting superstar on the track.
“While the rest of its siblings forged ahead with a modern and all-new front-wheel drive platform, the AE86 was founded on a reworking of its predecessor’s rear-wheel drive chassis,” explained Toyota itself.

The seller of the product itself has received a rating of 4.4 stars out of five, which can only be a good thing.
But what’s actually included?
Well, the listing explained that it includes a full body kit for a price of just $9,000.

“Made of durable steel and aluminum, ensures OE-matched fitment with no modifications required.
“Supports color customization in black or grey, ideal for classic car restoration and aftermarket replacement,” explained the product spotlight on the listing.
The Toyota also comes with a one-year warranty, which will provide some peace of mind for car lovers.
The Alibaba find has one big catch… or five to be exact
Now, while the car seems a cheap, cheerful and rare snap up, there is a catch for prospective AE86 owners.
You see, the Toyota shell comes with a minimum purchase amount, so forget only hoping to buy one.
Instead, if you want to buy the car from Alibaba, you’ll need to purchase a minimum of five.
But, it’s not the only car that you can buy on the site either, with electric hearses listed for only a few thousand dollars, alongside a $4,000 fake Range Rover that we even tried out for ourselves.
