Brazilian soccer legend Neymar has just splurged over $1 million on a brand new, personalized Ferrari Purosangue SUV.

Neymar is one of the world’s most decorated soccer players, and it’s little wonder he feels the need to flex his pedigree and wealth.

He recently added the Ferrari Purosangue, Maranello’s new SUV, to his collection, but of course, it has had a personal touch.

Neymar shared the car on his Instagram page, and it joins others in his collection, such as his Bentley Continental GT and Lamborghini Huracan.

Currently playing for Brazil’s Santos FC, Neymar is having a great year, with another baby on the way, too.

Clearly, it felt like a celebratory occasion, hence the decision to buy the new Ferrari Purosangue.

A post on his Instagram account showed the car off, arriving at his house in a stunning matte black finish.

Opening the door, we can see how he has personalized it, with the player having his name inscribed on the door sills.

He isn’t the only soocer star getting in on the Ferrari action, though. Erling Haaland just got his hands on half-a-million-dollars worth of Italian supercar.

This isn’t the only luxury car in the Brazilian soccer player’s collection, either.

He also owns the Continental GT and the Huracan mentioned earlier.

Then there’s a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a Mercedes G-Wagen, and an Aston Martin DBX SUV.

While many consider it an SUV, Neymar had best not call the Purosangue that in earshot of Ferrari.

The marque itself calls the Purosangue an FUV, or Ferrari Utility Vehicle.

It’s just Ferrari’s way of getting around the fact that it has built an SUV.

For many, the thought of Ferrari building an SUV was too much, even if the Purosangue has some impressive statistics.

Under the hood, it has a 6.5-liter F140 IA V12 engine, making it not only loud but also very powerful.

The V12 engine makes 715HP, and the SUV also has an eight-speed Magna dual-clutch automatic transmission.

It’s a fast and comfortable machine and one that naturally has a very high price tag.

Whatever you want to call it, it’s clear Neymar is set to enjoy his new luxury motor.

Just be careful what you call it in front of Ferrari, Neymar – remember, it’s an FUV, not an SUV.
