Fox News presenter Bret Baier was spotted as he was stopped in his flashy G-Wagen by DC police, but he openly admitted that it was all his fault.

Like many celebrities, the journalist found himself behind the wheel of one of Mercedes’ most flashy vehicles.

But, it wasn’t all glitz and glamor as the star was pulled over by DC police.

However, he had a lot to say about his run-in with the law.

Bret Baier was stopped in his G-Wagen by DC police, but he had an admission

We’ve all been there; you can see that your phone is ringing, but you’re not able to pick it up and hold it to your ear, thanks to essential road safety laws.

Some drivers risk it and break the rules, but at the risk of being caught, which one man found out the hard way.

Fox News presenter Bret Baier is best known for his journalistic career; however, thanks to his fame, he is easily recognizable, especially in Washington, DC.

And, thanks to cops in DC, Bret Baier found himself in the middle of a tricky situation.

The Fox News presenter was spotted being pulled over by police in DC, but instead of going with radio silence, he provided some background and took accountability on social media.

“I picked up my ringing phone as I drove past an officer while driving my wife’s car in Georgetown. He pointed to have me pull over – I did,” explained the presenter on X, formerly Twitter.

Unfortunately, though, Bret Baier did get a ticket in his flashy G-Wagen, which, as he explained, was his wife’s car.

“He was very professional. I had to dig for the registration card. Got a ticket and left. I didn’t know there was paparazzi,” Braier explained further.

But hey, at least he admitted his wrongdoing and will use hands-free next time.

The car that he was stopped in was quite the impressive ride, too

Like all celebrities, the news presenter had an impressive ride, a Mercedes G-Wagen.

The car boasts many impressive features and a huge powerhouse of an engine below the hood, and Mercedes has even given the 1980s G-Wagen a high-tech comeback.

Plus, a $1.25M gold G-Wagen exists, but there’s only one in the world, so we wish you the best of luck getting your hands on it.

So, the cars are an impressive ride – as long as road laws are abided by.
