A British singer put her $6.8 million property up for sale – and it had a Ferrari parked beneath the bookcase.

Heidi Range, a former member of the girl group Sugababes, put her house on the market in February, and it is incredible.

Range and her husband, property developer Alex Partakis, transformed the former Edwardian laundry into their dream home a decade ago.

But now they’ve vacated the property – presumably taking their 1972 Ferrari Dino with them.

Celebrity mansions are always a treat – but having a Ferrari underneath a bookcase is something else

If there’s one thing most people can agree on, it’s that we’d like to live in a mansion.

But unless we’ve got a couple million bucks lying around, such an idea will remain a fantasy for most of us.

Fortunately, celebrities provide the next best thing whenever they allow the outside world to see inside their homes.

We get to live vicariously through them.

You may recall Mark Zuckerberg’s recent purchase of a stunning $23 million mansion in Washington DC.

To list off Jeff Bezos’ impressive $600 million property portfolio would take far too much time.

But let’s be honest – we’ve all secretly longed for a mansion of our own at one point or another.

And once you see the house that Heidi Range sold, you’ll be feeling exactly the same way.

Range shot to fame in the early 2000s as one of the members of the Sugababes.

The British girl group enjoyed a lot of success at the time, with two chart-topping albums and six number one UK singles.

In the years since the band went on hiatus in 2011, Range has appeared on reality TV shows and starred in theatre productions.

She’s also been busy making over her house with husband Alex Partakis.

They purchased the Edwardian laundry mill in 2015 and spent two years turning it into a luxurious family home.

There’s a lot to love about this house, and whoever the new owner is, they’re one lucky person.

Inside the former home of a British singer

The house covers 4,124 sq ft over three floors, with a ton of open space.

The first floor is taken up with a open space reception, kitchen, and dining room.

Its also here where the Ferrari was put on full display.

The 1972 Ferrari Dino is positioned beneath the living room’s bookcase, hidden behind glass.

At first glance, you might think your eyes are deceiving you.

But no, that really is a real Ferrari sitting behind the glass.

It’s parked inside an internal garage.

When discussing her home on TV show Abbey Clancy: Celebrity Homes, Range talked about the Ferrari.

“That clearly wasn’t my idea,” she said.

We personally think it looks pretty cool – reminds us of the Florida mansion that had a Testa Rossa sitting in the living room.

Incidentally, another UK property put a Ferrari in its living room.

What is it about the Italian brand being used for interior design purposes?

It adds a touch of class for sure, but it’s certainly unorthodox.
