Bugatti is completely sold out until 2029, so if you were hoping to get your hands on one of its hypercars, you might be looking at a bit of a wait.
Bugatti’s director of design, Frank Heyl, recently revealed that the carmaker is in a great spot at the moment.
The marque is currently building the upcoming Tourbillon.
It’s committed to making 250 Tourbillons, with a price tag of $4.1 billion apiece.

Brand completely sold out as it gears up for Tourbillon release
Bugatti announced the Tourbillon last year, with production slated for 2026.
And it looks set to be an exceptional car, even by Bugatti’s sky-high standards.
The hybrid Tourbillon will be powered by a naturally aspirated V16 engine paired with a trio of motors producing a combined 1,775 horsepower.

All of that power will translate to speed, with the marque claiming the upcoming hypercar will be able to 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in under 2.0 seconds and an estimated top speed of 277mph (445km/h) with the use of a speed key.
The marque said it will build just 250 units, and they’ve all been snapped up, meaning Bugatti is completely sold out until 2029.
Speaking to CarBuzz at the 2026 Monterey Car Week, designer Frank Heyl has said the company is currently busy building the upcoming hypercar and wrapping up production of the Bolide.
“So, building 250 Tourbillons,” he said.
“Now delivering the finalist trials. The final Bolide…[all that] is going to keep us busy with our capacities until 2029 and sold out until 2029.
“If you have this [financial stability] as a business owner, it works out very solid. Then you know, you can plan ahead. It’s all set.”
Of course, this means that the carmaker will have plenty of time to think up what comes next after the Tourbillon – and we’re sure it’ll be every bit as exciting.
The average Bugatti customer is anything but average
Given that Bugatti is completely sold out until 2029, it’s unlikely that the marque will be on the lookout for any new customers.

The luxury automaker attracts a particular sort of person.
According to former Bugatti president Wolfgang Dürheimer, the average Bugatti customer ‘about 84 cars, three jets, and one yacht’.
The marque even launched a car that you can only get your hands on if you already own both a Chiron and a Divo.
