BYD just dropped the 2026 Denza N9, and it’s not holding back.

The premium SUV lands with a $54,000 starting price – unchanged from last year’s model.

It’s bigger than most driveways, loaded with tech, and still undercutting the usual luxury suspects.

The refresh makes it clear: Denza’s flagship isn’t getting pricier, it’s getting smarter.

The Denza N9: a plug-in hybrid SUV that thinks it’s a supercar

The 2026 N9 holds its starting price at $54,000, but packs in a lot more.

The lineup runs from $54,000 to $62,000, all in the same 17.3-foot body.

And it’s now available with a fresh green-silver two-tone finish.

Inside it feels closer to a lounge than an SUV.

Six seats, a zero-gravity queen seat, heated and massaging chairs, fold-out tables, a fridge, and a ceiling-mounted screen.

Add in three massive displays, a 50-inch AR-HUD, and a 26-speaker Devialet system, and the whole cabin feels more like a theater on wheels.

The drivetrain is the real party trick.

A 2.0T turbo plus three electric motors push out 912 horsepower, good for 0-60 in 3.9 seconds.

Pure electric range hits 143 miles, and combined you’re looking at 808 miles between stops.

With BYD’s Blade Battery and DiSus-A suspension, the SUV can squat, lift, crab walk, or spin itself on command.

Plus, God’s Eye B driver assistance – powered by Nvidia’s Orin X chip – watches every angle with LiDAR, radars, and cameras.

Denza’s rapid-fire evolution

The N9 first launched in March.

Six months later, BYD’s already rolled out a refreshed model – a pace that leaves traditional luxury brands looking slow on the uptake.

And the sales are stacking.

In August, Denza moved nearly 12,000 cars, with the N9 accounting for over 2,000.

Total N9 sales already top 20,000 – proof that BYD’s premium arm is catching fire.

The N9 isn’t just another plug-in SUV. It’s a six-seat flex: Porsche-level speed, Range Rover-style comfort, and a price that undercuts both.

A luxury lounge that sprints like a supercar – it seems new kid on the block Denza’s not here to play.
