Someone in Idaho converted their Cadillac CTS into a one-of-a-kind pickup truck and it looks epic.

From the front on, the car looks exactly like the straight-up Cadillac CTS it once was.

But if you take a look from the side, you’ll see a ute-style bed extending out the back of the vehicle.

The odd-looking vehicle is sure to firmly divide opinions.

The Cadillac CTS has been transformed into a true one-off

We’re no strangers to weird and wonderful DIY projects and modifications such as this kiddie car fitted with a motorcycle engine to create a Porsche 911 GT3 ‘Power Wheel’ or the guy who made this completely unique oversized road-legal bumper car.

And joining the ranks of eye-catching and unusual mods is this Cadillac that has been transformed into a pickup truck.

The black vehicle has retained its stock Cadillac CTS frontage with its chrome grille and large headlights.

The CTS’s doors and hidden handles suggest it was once a coupe, rather than the more common sedan model.

But while the front looks as stock as the day it rolled off the production line, the back is something else entirely.

The car looks completely different from behind

The rear of the Cadillac has been cut and fitted with the sort of upright window you’d find on a pickup.

The owner has also added a bed – well, it wouldn’t be a pickup truck without a bed, would it?

The rear tail lights have been replaced with a set from a Pinto and it has a couple of centrally-placed exhausts.

Images shared of the car online don’t reveal what the cabin looks like, unfortunately – but it’s likely a little more conventional than the outside.

The photos also don’t reveal what’s under the hood.

A standard Cadillac CTS coupe would have left the factory with a 3.6 liter direct injected V6 that produces 304 horsepower, but it’s impossible to tell if the owner of this vehicle has decided to swap it out for something more befitting of a pickup.

Whatever its powered by, it’s sure to turn heads while out on the road.
