A Cadillac CTS-V owner was not impressed with the stock power level of the American car, so he headed to a Texas tuner for extra grunt from his sports sedan.

The Tuners at Late Model Racecraft on YouTube revealed that an owner really enjoyed his Cadillac CTS-V, but he had become dissatisfied with what the car had from stock and craved more power.

Yet even during the upgrade process, he went back to the tuners and asked for yet more power, turning what was once a luxury sports sedan into a full-on supercar.

The Cadillac makes impressive amounts of power from stock, so to see it make so much more with just a few upgrades is very impressive.

How much power did the Cadillac CTS-V owner request?

As standard, the car is hardly short of power.

This is a 2016 model of the Cadillac, and it has a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 under the hood, making 640hp and 630lb-ft of torque.

That gave it a 0-60mph time of 3.3 seconds, and a top speed of 203mph.

But for this Cadillac CTS-V owner, that clearly wasn’t enough power.

The car was taken to the Late Model Racecraft, who were asked to give the car at least 800hp.

They were quick to give the Cadillac the desired package, meaning the car needed a new cold-air intake, headers, spark plugs, and a tune.

Yet it was during this upgrade that the owner rang up the company.

The owner of the Cadillac wanted even more power

Not happy with ‘only’ 800hp, the owner rang up and decided he wanted even more added.

Naturally, the tuning house agreed to this and gave the engine bay a million-dollar look.

When it came out of the tuner’s workshop, the car now made a massive 850hp.

A YouTube video of the shop driving the car reveals just how special this Cadillac has become.

Should the owner want even more power, there is the potential to port the supercharger of the CTS-V.

What makes this even more impressive is that the car is no slouch to begin with, and is already very fast.

Yet this set of upgrades has taken this sports sedan to a level even Cadillac couldn’t have imagined.
