Most birthday parties stick to cake, balloons, and maybe a jumping castle.
This one went in a completely different direction.
Because instead of a wrapped present, one guest arrived with something much bigger.
A full-sized monster truck.
The monster truck that became the birthday surprise
The moment came out of Santa Clarita, California, where a bright blue monster truck was seen rolling through the streets.
Footage shared by @whatsupscv shows the truck – a surprise gift from @one11ink – moving through the area, with the kids inside as it drives, having the time of their lives.
The post attracted plenty of interest.
The comments filled with people asking how to book the truck for their own events.

As a result, the focus shifted to what the truck actually was.
Commenters quickly identified it as the Cyclops, which the account itself later confirmed.
Judging by the reaction, we have a hunch this idea won’t stay a one-off for long.
It’s part of a much bigger trend of over-the-top birthdays
This kind of surprise might feel extreme, but it’s not exactly happening in isolation.
We’ve seen moments like this build across the car world, where birthdays turn into full-scale events.
In one case, a mom asked online for someone with a cool car, and a whole fleet showed up – from an Audi R8 to multiple Porsche 911s – turning a simple party into something much bigger.

Then there are the gifts themselves.
One 18-year-old didn’t just get a present, he was handed the keys to a Lamborghini Huracán STO – a moment that instantly went viral for obvious reasons.
And in a different kind of twist, one man’s birthday ended with him driving a McLaren F1 for 1,000 miles – not wrapped up with a bow, but still very much a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
It all goes to show how far things have shifted.
Because whether it’s a monster truck, a convoy of supercars, or something even rarer, birthdays aren’t about the party setup anymore.
