California man tests three of the world's fastest electric go-karts by taking them on the highway and says one thrill stands out to him

This California man took three of the world’s fastest electric go-karts out onto the highway to find out what thrilled him the most about them.
YouTube channel Sur Ronster wanted to see how a go-kart would fare if it was taken out onto public roads.
Making this video even better is the fact that Ronster and his friends had three of them to take out.
How fast can these go-karts go?
The go-karts have a 72-volt battery, and they can travel at a top speed of nearly 100mph.
The go-karts produce around 50hp, and they each cost around $10,000, so they certainly are not cheap.
Little wonder the YouTuber called them the craziest go-karts he had ever tested.
The first test saw the trio of karts head out onto the main highway.
This looked incredibly fraught, as the three karts were not easy for other motorists to see.
As the speed increased, Ronster also found it difficult to keep his helmet down due to the sheer acceleration of the trucks.
That isn’t the only sketchy thing about these go-karts.
The karts had an incredibly sketchy ride
“Ouch, that was the suspension,” shouted the YouTuber as the go-kart bounced over a bump.
“It’s so sketchy because we don’t have flags or anything. We’re invisible,” he added.
The acceleration of the karts is very clear to see as the video progresses.
It takes just a handful of seconds for the karts to launch from 0- 60 mph, and they can weave right through the traffic.
In reality, these electric karts are not designed to be driven like this on public roads.
They are designed for race tracks or private roads, where you can enjoy them without fearing for your life.
An accident in one of these could potentially land you in serious legal trouble.
What are the go-karts like downtown?
With the highway test done, the trio of karts then heads downtown to see how they perform.
In some ways, this looked even sketchier than when the karts were on a highway.
The bumpier road proved incredibly sketchy for the little rockets on wheels.
Ronster even hid behind a car he was following to prevent the cop from spotting him.
They are so small that literally nobody in any of the other cars can see them or what they are doing.
These electric go-karts seem like the perfect vehicle for the track, but it’s best to keep them off the roads if you are lucky enough to own one.
