This Canadian man drove his flashy white Tesla Model X until it died to see what would really happen when the battery dropped down to zero percent.
Tesla and its models are known to dominate the EV world thanks to driving features and charging technology, but this proved to be the ultimate test.
The experiment was conducted close to the creator’s home and around one neighborhood, so it could be rolled back when the battery eventually fully depleted.
And, the distance that the car managed to cover may come as a surprise.

This Tesla Model X was the gift that kept on giving, thanks to its battery
Tesla is ahead of the curve when it comes to EVs, with the company constantly rolling out tech advancements and vehicle releases.
One of its most well-known models is the Model X, which was first released in 2015.

But one owner decided to put his Tesla Model X Long Range through a gruelling task, and see just how far zero percent could get him.
YouTuber POGAuto jumped in his bright white Tesla and got behind the wheel to see what would really happen when the car’s power source was gone.

Originally, the car said that it had 6.2 miles (10km), so by driving around his neighborhood, he decided to see how many miles the car could really travel with no juice left..
When the car actually hit zero, it still had power and continued to drive a whopping 20.5 miles (33km), with the car eventually rolling onto the creator’s drive after offering warnings to pull over immediately.

However, even though it drove an extra 20 miles with no power left in the battery, once he got out of his EV, he couldn’t open the doors or get to the charging port either.
Charging the car from having no percent left was also a task, with it being slow, which is less than ideal.
So, even though the car can actually drive with no battery left, you’re fighting fire with fire and risk damaging the car.
The Model X has been put to the test in more ways than one
It’s no secret that there has been a shift from gas power to EVs in recent years.
So, to see if cars powered solely by electricity are really worth it, many car enthusiasts have put the cars through their paces – especially Tesla models.
For example, a Tesla Model X was put to the test on the world’s hottest day in Death Valley, California, to see if it could still perform.
Plus, one Tesla Model X broke a record by unbelievably towing a massive Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in Australia.
