Celebrity car sales have exactly the same logistical problems as any serious car sale, with a full inspection and health check before anything else happens.

For this YouTuber and car dealer for the stars, he still took the car destined for British comedian Jimmy Carr to TT-Mechanica for a precautionary inspection to make sure there were no mechanical issues before delivery.

It had already passed its inspection a few days before, but there was nothing wrong with making sure it was perfect because it’s destined for a celeb.

That was important because the next stage required stripping parts of the car down completely, and the vehicle was sent off to a specialist wrap shop, where all the doors were removed to ensure the finish would be flawless.

As the deadline got closer, things became more stressful, and a last-minute engine management light appeared, throwing the entire schedule into question.

With delivery time looming, the team rushed to refuel the car, fix the fault, clean the wheels, fit license plates, and prep the interior.

There was no margin for error; the car had to be perfect for the comedian.

Putting the ‘car’ in Jimmy Carr

Alongside the car itself, the dealer had also gone all in on accessories.

Boxes arrived filled with matching extras, including seat belt covers, cushions, a steering wheel cover, fluffy dice, a pink keyring, driving gloves, and even decorative dust caps.

Every detail had to be ready before the early morning trip to London.

After setting off before sunrise, the team arrived with minutes to spare, and logistics were handled carefully, with the handover kept private at the comedian’s request.
