Miami just turned into the real-life GTA Vice City when hundreds of car enthusiasts blocked the city streets with a swarm of supercars.

The Miami Bridge takeover was part of the Rally2Race Miami 2024 event.

In the video, over 120 supercars can be seen taking over a bridge and shutting down the road.

According to the organizers, it’s an event where the adrenaline of racing meets the spectacle of a supercar parade.

The iconic Miami Ocean Drive was the main gathering point for this supercar meet.

Anyone who has played GTA Vice City knows the iconic Miami Ocean Drive street by heart.

Even the newest addition to the franchise, GTA VI, will revisit the magical city in all its glory.

It’s a place where the art deco vibes meet the modern-day legends on four wheels.

From the purr of a vintage classic to the roar of the latest hypercar, the meet event was home to all kinds of supercars.

Unfortunately, many people criticized the event online for disrupting traffic and people’s daily lives.

“As a car enthusiast, this was stupid and disrespectful to people just trying to live their lives. Go park in a parking lot.” wrote one commenter.

“As someone in the car community holding up traffic like this isn’t cool. I’m sorry. Nice cars, but not the right place for this.”, wrote another.

However, the event took place under the watchful escort of Miami’s finest police units, according to the organizers.

The event was approved by the city officials, and appropriate measures were taken to ensure residents didn’t face issues.

Organizers also posted several videos of the meet event online, with over 120 supercars worth $50 million.

As far as expensive supercar meets go, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
