Planes are almost always an expensive purchase, so it’s no surprise that aviation enthusiasts are desperate to find deals.

Smaller planes are often your best bet if you’re on a tight aviation budget.

These can often be found online, through manufacturers and even resale sites. In fact, Facebook Marketplace has even been known carry listings for small aircraft.

But wait until you see the lengths that this guy went to, to scout one out.

He utilized his own Cessna to take him up above the clouds and to the state to explore a new aircraft called ‘Ruckus’.

And the plane certainly was unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.

The Ruckus is made by Top Rudder Aircraft and is fully customizable.

The company states that it ‘is designed to make every journey unforgettable. From its responsive handling to its impressive range, this aircraft turns the sky into your playground.’

While it looks bare, don’t fret, as customers can actually decide how what to add to make it their own.

Folding wings, slats, wing wraps, wheels, brakes, and landing gear, among other features, are included to make the plane as individual as its owner.

The Ruckus builders know what they’re doing

Top Rudder offers a range of engine options for customers to choose from.

These include a Polini THOR 303, Rotax 503/582/912, Simonini Victor 2 Super, Hummel 45 HP, and the Hirth 23 Series.

But, ‘if there’s another engine you’re considering, feel free to let us know – we’re always open to discussing custom configurations,’ states the company.

Ruckus also has a max speed of 110MPH and a top range of up to 500 nautical miles.

The YouTuber saw the experimental version of the Ruckus – with the serial number one – in the flesh, which had a Polini Thor 303 in it, helping the masterminds at Top Rudder decide what to take into production.

You can reserve the Ruckus online with a $15,000 deposit, and even the YouTuber admitted that it looked fun.
