Charles Leclerc has a stunning new $13M superyacht filled with bespoke personal details and even its name has special meaning

Charles Leclerc is the proud owner of a new $13m superyacht filled with personal touches tailored towards the racing driver.

The 28-year-old recently took delivery of the 102-foot Riva 102 Corsaro Super, made by Italian yacht-maker Riva Yachts.

The Corsaro is as formidable as it is beautiful.

But it’s not just a power of considerable stature – this has been tailored for its new owner, even down to its name.

While Charles Leclerc might not have secured victory at the F1 Miami Grand Prix, he could still count himself as a winner in another way.

And that was when he took delivery of a new Riva superyacht.

At a ceremony in the Italian shipyard, Leclerc and his wife Alexandra received the new boat.

Now, he is no stranger to an expensive superyacht – we all remember his $4.5 million Riva 66 Ribelle, don’t we?

But if you can believe it, this new delivery is not only more expensive – at $13 million – but it’s also bigger.

Leclerc’s is the 20th 102 Corsaro Super to hit the water, with the first being launched back in 2022.

“Charles’s passion for Riva, which is of course reciprocal, is a testament to quality and beauty that we welcome with boundless joy,” Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi said.

“If such a formidable driver and icon of style and elegance chooses once again one of our boats, it means that Riva, and in this case the magnificent 102 Corsaro Super, offers unrivalled standards of beauty, livability and technology.”

Leclerc worked closely with designers to tailor the boat to his tastes, with pieces from Italian luxury furniture brand Minotti and cushions from Thai silk specialist Jim Thompson.

Amenities onboard include a bespoke bar with a grill, two fridges, and an ice maker.

And like any superyacht worth its salt, the boat has a beach club flanked by a hauling ramp for water toys.

The significance of the boat’s name

The boat is named ‘Sedici’, which is Italian for sixteen.

As motorsports buffs out there are no doubt aware, this is Leclerc’s racing number.

It’s a nice little touch for a boat tailored towards Leclerc’s Monaco lifestyle, without skimping on the performance.

He’s known for enjoying the finer things in life – like using a $40 million Ferrari as his wedding getaway car.

Not that he doesn’t also have a modest side to him too, as demonstrated when he was spotted cycling shortly after winning the Monaco GP.

There’s no question of whether there’ll be room for the bike on his new boat.
