This group of friends bought the cheapest cars they could find on Temu and raced them for one big concession – the loser would have to make one of them their daily driver.
The team over at the YouTube channel Airborne Entertainment had two ‘Scoot Cubes’ to work with.
These were small 50cc three-wheeled vehicles that had been customized to look like Lightning McQueen and Dale Earnhardt’s ‘Intimidator’ car.
A series of tests was set out before them, and only one Temu car would emerge victorious.
It’s not exactly clash of the titans, but this Temu car challenge was still a nailbiter
The guys over at Airborne Entertainment split up into two teams for this task – Team McQueen (Justin and Daniel), and Team Earnhardt (Josh and Blake).
If there’s two titans of the car-racing world, it’d be Lightning McQueen and Dale Earnhardt.
The first task involved racing the cars to a gas station, with two ways of earning points – being the first to arrive, and arriving with the most taped eggs still intact.
Yeah, this challenge isn’t your standard race.
At first, Team Earnhardt was being sabotaged because Justin had placed a remote kill switch on their car.
Once they realized this and ripped it out, they raced to victory.

And they had one egg left on their vehicle, giving them two points overall.
Other challenges included driving on two wheels for one mile, completing 50 laps of a roundabout, and reaching 50mph.
But then came the grand finale – a good old-fashioned relay race, which was worth two points.

It was all to play for.
Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time Temu products have been raced – remember these $5,000 jet boats?
Which of these cars would get a shot at being a daily driver?
In what was billed as the ‘world’s slowest race’, there was a lot on the line.
The loser would have to switch out their daily driver for their Scoot Cube for an entire day.
There were going to be two laps of this race, with one person from each team taking a lap.

At first, it was pretty neck-and-neck, but things shifted during the driver changeover.
Team Earnhardt got the upper hand and won the relay race, as well as the overall contest.
That could only mean one thing for the other team – they had to carpool in the Lightning McQueen car.
Kach-ow!
