A British car enthusiast has revealed how he managed to get his hands on the ‘cheapest Rolls-Royce Phantom in the UK’ that was still in great condition.
When it comes to luxury carmakers, there are few names quite as well regarded and respected as Rolls-Royce.
So it stands to reason that most folks would expect to part with a lot of cash to get their hands on one – a new 2024 Rolls-Royce Phantom, for example, comes with a starting price of $493,000.
However, car lover Chris Edworthy has proved that doesn’t always have to be the case.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom was being sold in great condition
When it comes to buying used vehicles, there are some real bargains to be found – such as this Porsche 911 that was snapped up from Craigslist for $6,000 or this second-hand Tesla Roadster that was bought for $35,000.
Over in the UK, Edworthy explained how he managed to get his hands on a great condition Rolls-Royce Phantom for a fraction of the cost.
In a clip shared to YouTube, Edworthy explained that he was initially offered the car for £60,000 ($76,548).
While that sounds like an absolute steal to us, Edworthy turned down the offer.
But a short time later, he saw the car listed on eBay with the same asking price and decided to try his luck at battering the seller down. Well, if you don’t ask, you don’t get, right?
He managed to get the seller to lower the price
“I took the opportunity to message the owner, he explained in the clip.
“And I said, ‘I’m interested in your Rolls-Royce however, I don’t have £60,000. All I have is £45,000.”
Edworthy even apologized, in advance, about the offer telling the seller he hoped it didn’t offend him offering 25 percent less than his asking price.
But it turned out he didn’t need to worry about that, as the seller got back in touch to say he was happy to accept the offer.
After traveling three hours to collect the Rolls-Royce Phantom, Edworthy had to fork out for a new set of tires- but all in all, we’d say he got a wild bargain here.
