This is the Chery QQ Domi, an ultra-compact micro EV from China with an incredible price tag.
The range is pretty good, and it’s not too slow either.
And even inside, it’s not a Rolls-Royce or a Bentley, but you still get leather seats and a touchscreen.
But it’s the price that’s truly shocking.

The Chery QQ Domi is here to compete with the BYD Seagull EV, which will soon be available in Europe, by the way, the Dolphin Mini, the BYD, and, ideally, the Tesla Model Q, whenever – or if – it comes out.
Despite being so cheap and tiny, you still get an electronic handbrake, leather seats, and a 10-inch touchscreen.

You can obviously get even more stuff if you’re willing to spend more, but that’s still not bad for a car that’s so inexpensive.
And by the way, the car is also pretty spacious considering how tiny it is.
Even rear passengers have enough legroom and headroom.

Spec-wise, you get a battery pack that only takes 33 minutes to charge this ultra-compact micro EV from 10 percent to 80 percent, which is pretty good.
And the range is great, too.
You get 305 or 405KM of range (190 and 251 miles, respectively).

This electric car has a lot of aces up its sleeve, but the biggest and most convincing one is the price.
The cheapest variant, the one with 305 kilometers of range, starts at 59,900 yuan in China, which is equivalent to around $8,300.

If you want the range-topping model, the one that’s capable of driving up to 405 kilometers on a charge, you’re still only spending 69,900 yuan, which is 9,700 in U.S. dollars.
This is truly remarkable.
