The owner of this Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport boosted its output to a staggering 1,300 horsepower and has now decided to sell it on.
Launched back in 1953, the Chevy Corvette is one of America’s most iconic cars.
The original C1 came with an inline-six engine that could produce 150 horsepower.
Several decades on, this C7 ‘Vette in Colorado has been boosted to a neck-snapping 1,300 horsepower.

The Chevrolet Corvette is packing some serious power
The Corvette, which was recently shared on The Late Model Racecraft YouTube channel, began life with an LT1 6.2-liter V8 engine that can produce up to 460 horsepower.
When the car landed with the team at The Late Model Racecraft, it had already been modified but they ‘took it to the next level’ with further upgrades and created something pretty special.

The C7 beast is even more powerful than the 2025 Corvette ZR1, which produces just over 1,000 horsepower.
The Corvette was fitted with a 6.8-liter engine made by LME and was given a ProCharger F1X Supercharger, as well as a quad-pipe exhaust.
To handle all that extra power, the team also rebuilt the car’s eight-speed automatic transmission.
Alongside that, the team also added a custom-made air-to-water intercooler with its own ice tank that can be controlled via a button on the dashboard.
Pretty cool, right?
The ‘Vette is all set to go to a new owner
Outwardly, the Chevy looks mean thanks to its gleaming black paintwork with attention-grabbing blue accents.
And inside, the car’s interior has a similar color scheme featuring blue and black upholstery.
With all the essential upgrades carried out, the team hooked the vehicle up to a dyno where it hit 1,274 horsepower – a little less than advertised, but the experts insisted ‘it would’ve hit 1,300 if we held it longer’.
And who are we to argue?
Following its slick upgrades, the Corvette is all set to go off to a new owner who will presumably be taking it straight to a drag strip to find out exactly what it’s capable of.
Meanwhile, the original owner will be replacing his C7 Corvette with a… erm C7 Corvette – but this time he’s opting for a turbo setup.
