A man who bought an old lady’s Chevy Caprice found that it contained a surprise in the trunk.
YouTuber mr75caprice picked up the car, despite it being extremely popular.
It was in such high demand that the owner was getting 50 calls from interested hunters.
But fortunately, the Caprice contains something to help commiserate their loss.

This Caprice was extremely popular – but only one person could take it home
In a video shared to his subscribers, mr75caprice – real name Juan Estrada – showed off his new purchase.
The car itself was something of a family heirloom, having belonged to the elderly lady’s mother.
When her mother passed away in the 1990s, the car was left to her.
Thirty years later, she felt it was time to sell it – and boy, were people keen to get their hands on it.
It was almost as popular as the Cybertruck, which was reportedly seeing more registrations than Ford F-150 Lightning and Rivian R1T.
Josh, the tow-truck driver who delivered it to Juan, told him how sought-after the car was.
He said: “She had about 50 phone calls while I was siting there.”
With aspiring Caprice owners offering $5,000 on the spot, Juan was lucky to be the one chosen.
Even as he and Josh were stood talking, a Dodge Challenger pulled up and the owner waved around some cash hoping to get a bite.
What surprise was inside the car’s trunk?
The car itself has held up beautifully from when it was first rolled out in 1987.
With a wash and wax being carried out three years ago, it shines in the sun.
With a relatively low mileage of 56,000 and a rare V6 engine, the Caprice starts up like a dream.
When first released, 3,110 units were produced out a total of 155,281 cars rolled out by General Motors.
GM had brought in some styling changes, including a hood ornament.
The car doesn’t have a passenger side window, which concerned Juan slightly.
But on the whole, he was ecstatic with his purchase.
It feels nice to be the lucky person to get takes home a highly coveted vehicle.
For those unlucky many who didn’t succeed in taking the car home, there was a small commiseration in the trunk.
A roll of toilet paper to wipe away their tears.
Josh joked as he held it up: “This is for all the people that couldn’t buy it. To wipe your tears.”
Ouch.
Tearing up over a car isn’t always a bad thing – this dad getting choked up when his daughter gifted him a car he drove in the 1970s is a nice example of that.
