In case you were unaware, the Chevy Corvette doesn’t have a normal delivery process.

As a matter of fact, ‘Vette buyers can opt for a very special experience.

For $1,495, new buyers can opt to collect their car from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

And the museum has just celebrated its 20,000th delivery.

National Corvette Museum celebrates 20,000th customer delivery

Chevrolet really does try to go the extra mile when it comes to its car customers.

Among other things, the marque has a dedicated National Corvette Museum.

For just $25, you can check out the facility for yourself in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

First established in 1994, it famously survived a massive sinkhole in 2014.

But buyers of the Chevy Corvette are able to experience the Museum in a much more special way.

For an extra $1,495, you can have your brand-new ‘Vette delivered to the facility to be collected.

That’s right – ticking the R8C box on the order form allows you to do this for yourself.

The program first began in 1995, just one year after the establishment of the Museum.

This process is now celebrating its 30th birthday – and it is doing so with a massive milestone.

As of this week, Chevrolet is officially celebrating the 20,000th Museum delivery of a brand-new Corvette.

The car in question that passed the milestone is a 2025 Stingray in a striking Sebring Orange finish.

Is the Chevy Corvette pickup experience worth it?

At this point, you might be asking yourself what exactly you get for your $1,495 experience.

Well, the $25 general entry ticket is good – but it’s not as good as this.

For one thing, your new Corvette gets a personalized plaque on the dash.

This is to celebrate the special, commemorative occasion at the Museum itself.

Once you arrive, you are also treated to a special VIP tour of the facility.

A one-year membership to the National Corvette Museum is also thrown in for good measure.

But the coup de grâce is the ability to pick up your brand-new car inside the Museum.

Your personal tour guide walks you through everything you need to know about your car.

You are then handed the keys and are able to drive right out the door.

In case you were wondering – the experience is extremely open and available.

All you have to do is place your order with a Chevrolet dealership in the United States.
