One Chinese scientist just created an actual invisibility cloak.
And there is no wizardry, magic, or sorcery involved.
But it is a real creation, courtesy of a Chinese scientist.
And his demonstration blew everyone away.

Chinese scientist creates an actual invisibility cloak!
Have you ever wanted the power to disappear?
Well, you might get the chance to do just that.
Because this Chinese scientist has just created something truly amazing.
Chu Junhao has managed to create a real-life invisibility cloak.
Back in December 2023, the shock announcement was made.
How had someone managed to create an actual invisibility cloak?
Well, it’s real – and the demonstration backed it up too.
The Chinese scientist held a virtual exhibition called Super Science Night.
Taking to the stage, Chu was accompanied by two men.
These men held a square piece of the material in front of Chu’s legs.
At first, you could see part of Chu’s trousers disappear beneath the material.
But the reveal got even better.
The men accompanying Chu then rotated the material 90 degrees.
And Chu’s legs disappeared completely!
But how does the tech actually work?
As you might imagine, the reveal somewhat broke the internet.
Social media was quickly flooded with people testing the invisibility cloak for themselves.
One clip showed a man draping himself in the fabric – before disappearing completely into the background.
But how does this real-life invisibility cloak actually work?
Chu Junhao’s innovation is said to use cutting-edge materials that manipulate light to achieve optical invisibility.

Of course, such a creation has led to a bit of a divided response.
“This is not invisibility. It’s hiding. You can still see it. Can’t walk unseen in the bank with that,” one person wrote on X.
Others were much more positive in their reflections on the creation.
One person claimed that Harry Potter was ‘way ahead of his time with this one’.
“Man technology is just amazing, things from sci-fi are actually coming to life, just hope these things will be put to good use,” was the view of another.
Either way, it is an incredibly exciting innovation.
